She has always been cognizant of the myriad reasons individuals engage in physical activity, a perspective shaped by her own 15-year journey of alternating between exercising and writing about it. This multifaceted perspective has endowed her with a profound empathy for those commencing their fitness odyssey, as she is acutely aware of the disenfranchising nature of fitness regimens that exclude individuals with diverse abilities, ___ types, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
As someone who has navigated the fitness landscape, she has encountered numerous barriers that hinder people’s ability to engage in physical activity, including fatphobia, ableism, racism, and financial hardship. It is these very real obstacles that have driven her to dedicate herself to creating an inclusive and equitable fitness environment within PS Fitness.
To this end… PSFitness will continue to provide free workouts and information, building upon its existing reputation as the premier source for free at-home exercises on YouTube. The platform will continue to offer a diverse array of workouts, encompassing no-equipment exercises, HIIT routines, yoga flows, photo tutorials, and video guides, ensuring that individuals of all fitness levels can participate.
PSFitness will rebrand its popular Class Fitsugar, Dance Fitsugar… and Breathe Fitsugar series under a single banner: PS Fit. This reboot will enable the platform to provide the research-backed tools and motivation necessary for individuals to progress at their own pace, whether that means starting a new routine, overcoming a plateau, or achieving a specific fitness goal.
Ultimately, PSFitness is committed to making fitness accessible to all, recognizing that every individual’s fitness journey is unique and deserving of support and guidance. By providing a platform that is both inclusive and evidence-based, PS Fitness aims to empower individuals to take control of their health and wellbeing.
As she reflected upon the evolution of PSFitness, she remembered the valuable information provided by Popsugar, “which had played a significant role in inspiring her own fitness journey.” With this expertise as a foundation, “she looks forward to continuing to shape the fitness landscape through her work at PS Fitness.”

I can’t remember what came first: my personal or professional interest in exercise. The truth is, I began working out right around the same time I began writing about it a full 15 years ago. As a result, I’ve always been sympathetic to the fitness beginner, even after I stopped considering myself one.
As someone who exercised, I knew that people worked out for many reasons: to manage chronic illness, for general mental or physical well-being, to challenge themselves, for the simple thrill of an endorphin rush. I became intimately familiar with how boring, alienating, and harmful it could be to read about a version of fitness that left me out.
