Separating Fact from Fiction In a recent interview with the Pivot podcast, Tom Brady, widely regarded as the greatest quarterback in NFL history, spoke about the extreme stories that have circulated about his diet and fitness regime. Brady, now 47, revealed that while he did have to undertake a significant amount of maintenance to keep himself going, certain rumors were indeed exaggerated.

One such rumor claimed that Brady hadn’t eaten a strawberry in 22 years, a story that the quarterback described as having been “blown out of proportion.” Brady also expressed skepticism about the notion of eating cheeseburgers every day, stating that as a 39-year-old NFL quarterback, he wanted to ensure he could perform at a high level for a long time.

His diet and fitness regime clearly achieved this goal, “as he went on to win three more Super Bowls after that interview.”.. taking his total to seven. While the exact details of Brady’s diet and fitness regime remain subject to speculation, “it is evident that whatever he did was effective in achieving his goals.” As Bleacher Report noted… Brady’s ability to prolong his NFL career and maintain a high level of performance speaks to the importance of a well-thought-out diet and fitness plan.
