Think Integrated, a local marketing agency, has been giving back to the community for nearly a decade through its Think-a-Thon event, which dedicates 26.2 hours of marketing support to a single nonprofit each year.
However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company decided to take its community involvement to the next level by launching the Made by Me scholarship program, which provides key marketing tactics and $1,000 to first-generation college students.

According to Mark Freid, co-founder of Think Integrated, the idea behind Made by Me was to have a more direct impact on individuals in the community rather than supporting a larger nonprofit. Through the program, participants learn web design, writing, social media, and other marketing skills, and then apply them to personal projects.

At the end of the program, one lucky winner receives a $1,000 scholarship, although donors have been generous enough in the past to grant scholarships to everyone.

At first glance, a marketing agency may not seem like a company that spends its free time helping others. But for Think Integrated, a company co-founded by Mark Freid and Noah Talesnick, helping the community is a cornerstone in their work.
