Free Haircut and Beard Trim Event at Sunrise Mission: Community Focus The Alpena community was treated to a free haircut and beard trim event hosted by Sunrise Mission and Rebel Roots Hair Studio on Monday. This community-oriented initiative aimed to provide an overlooked service for those in need and help members of the Alpena community look their best.

“It’s all about the community,” echoed Sunrise Mission’s Executive Director, Michelle Bailey. “We just want to do as much as we can for the community.” She added that the event was inspired by the desire to provide residents of Sunrise Mission, as well as Members of the Alpena Community as a whole, with a service that they may not normally have access to due to financial limitations.

Shauna Casler, owner of Rebel Roots Hair Studio, shared her sentiments, “stating.”.. “We were more than happy to volunteer our services for this event. We believe that everyone deserves to feel confident in their appearance, “regardless of their financial circumstances.”” The event was held at the Sunrise Mission campus administration building and was open to all members of the community.

Haircuts and beard trims were provided free of charge… thanks to the generosity of Rebel Roots Hair Studio. This heartwarming event demonstrates the positive impact that can be made when organizations and individuals come together to support their community. It is a testament to the power of compassion and the desire to create a more inclusive and vibrant community.
