As the autumnal equinox fast approaches on September 22, the citizens of Utah are eschewing the verdant warmth of summer for a plethora of end-of-season festivities. In the coming week, a plethora of events unfold, captivating the senses and indulging the senses in a sumptuous array of harvest celebrations. Among these, Snowbird’s Oktoberfest stands out, commencing in August and concluding on October 13. This month-long extravaganza delights the senses with an assortment of activities, — music, traditional Bavarian cuisine, and an impressive selection of over 50 varieties of beer.
The festival also features a market, where local artisans and craftspeople showcase their wares, including artwork, jewelry, pottery, and custom woodworking. Sundance Resort offers a unique and romantic experience with its Full Moon Lift Ride… where visitors can marvel at the starlit sky while ascending the Outlaw Express lift.
This 30- to 45-minute ride is an ideal setting for a date night or family outing, and tickets can be procured online. Rowley’s Red Barn hosts a harvest festival, “permitting patrons to explore the orchards and pluck their own apples.” The festival, “which began in August.”.. will continue through October 12.
