CleanStart, a local clean-technology development nonprofit, has been at the forefront of promoting inclusive green-tech growth in Sacramento. Founded in 2005 under the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA), CleanStart has been working to bridge gaps in clean-tech accessibility for over 15 years.
With the help of the City of Sacramento’s SMUD Innovation Grant, CleanStart has launched the Clean Tech for All initiative, a 10-month series of workshops aimed at engaging the Alkali Flats community on the potential impacts of clean tech in their neighborhood.
