As we honor the sacrifices of our nation’s bravest, it’s essential that we prioritize their well-being. For many veterans, the transition to civilian ___ can be a daunting task, filled with challenges that can lead to immense stress and anxiety. It’s no secret that post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression are rampant among those who have served, and it’s our responsibility to provide them with the support they need to thrive.

So, what can we do to help alleviate the stress and trauma that our veterans face? A growing ___ of research suggests that gardening can be a powerful tool in the fight against mental health issues. Not only does it provide an outlet for physical exercise, but it also allows individuals to connect with nature and tap into a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
