New Ryan Murphy medical drama 'Doctor Odyssey' coming to ABC this fall – Good Morning…
⁘Doctor Odyssey,⁘ a new medical drama series executive produced by ⁘9-1-1⁘ creator Ryan Murphy, , was announced Tuesday by ABC Entertainment in a release detailing ABC’s fall primetime schedule for 2024-2025.
Murphy’s new show, which follows the events of a medical team onboard a luxury cruise ship, will star Joshua Jackson of ⁘Dawson’s Creek⁘ fame, ⁘Miami Vice⁘ star Don Johnson, and ⁘Hamilton⁘ star Phillipa Soo.
According to the ABC release, Jackson’s character Max ⁘is the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the staff works hard and plays harder. It’s all hands on deck as Max and his small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore.⁘

‘Grey’s Anatomy’s Future Isn’t in Jeopardy Yet
The latest round of news surrounding long-running ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy gave fans pause. First, we found out that, for the upcoming Season 21, Grey’s would face a trim on its budget. This means that some of the series’ oldest cast members will see their screen time and episode count reduced when the show comes back for the next season. Then, ABC announced that the show is going to move from its traditional Thursday 9PM slot to 10 PM. The change is small, but could it signal the end of the line for the show? According to Disney TV Group President Craig Erwich , there’s no need to worry at all.
