The Utica Fireside White Sox Club was officially formed on February 2, 2007. The club was established by a group of six friends, including Windy, Ron Chalus, Gary Harmon, Jason Harmon, Joseph Carey, and Mark Klinefelter. The club’s meetings take place at Canal Port, where they often gather by the——fireplace. The group’s main goal is:——to help kids in need… with a focus on supporting local charities such as Lighted Way. And Friendship Village.

The club’s charitable efforts involve raising money and providing goods——to the "organizations they support." The Utica Fireside White Sox Club has six original members.
