According to a recent study, certain foods can help reduce stress levels in the body. The study found that consuming foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B6, and magnesium can help alleviate stress and promote relaxation. Some of the top foods that made the list include fatty fish like salmon and tuna, nuts and seeds like almonds and pumpkin seeds, and leafy greens like spinach and kale.

In addition to these foods, other stress-reducing options include dark chocolate, which contains flavonoids that can help lower cortisol levels, and fermented foods like kimchi and sauerkraut, which contain probiotics that can help regulate the gut-brain axis. Other stress-fighting foods include herbs like ashwagandha and passionflower, which have been used in traditional medicine for centuries to promote relaxation and reduce anxiety.
