Volunteer Time Off (VTO) is a way for local businesses to incentivize their employees to give back to the community. In central Wisconsin, The Neighbors’ Place, a non-profit organization that provides essential items to those in need, has seen an increase in volunteer groups. Donna Ambrose, the executive director of The Neighbors’ Place, explained that employees from Incredible Bank have been volunteering their time to help with diaper drives and other tasks. Tiffany Burnett, a credit analyst at Incredible Bank, started volunteering through her company’s VTO program two and a half years ago and has since become a board member. Burnett expressed how VTO has allowed her to give back to the community while also earning extra vacation time and grant money for The Neighbors’ Place.
