George Lucas’ original backup plan for A New Hope’s sequel was a sci-fi action story about Luke and Leia marooned on a planet fighting monsters, with a tone of romantic tension between the two. This idea was later adapted into Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. David Benioff and D.B. 2. A Boba Fett Movie: Boba Fett has always been a fan favorite, and there were plans to give him his own solo movie. The film was going to explore Boba’s origins and his early days as a bounty hunter. However, the project was ultimately cancelled.
3. AStar Wars TV Series: In 2019, Lucasfilm announced that they were planning to produce a ###-action Star Wars TV series.
