Rich Stinson, a San Antonio veteran, has made significant progress in his mental health therapy journey, feeling happier and more hopeful than he has in years. He has found solace in art therapy through CreatiVets, which allows him to express himself creatively and connect with others who share similar experiences.Stinson has collaborated with the band Love and Theft to write and record a song as part of his therapy, which was released in a 2022 anniversary album. He hopes to
inspire other veterans to feel less alone in their struggles and to know that healing is possible.

While each song is unique to the Veteran behind the story, 94% of participants surveyed by CreatiVets say that they agreed they enjoy sharing their song with others. Some 96% report positive feelings when listening to their song.
