Layers are the key to a proper winter wardrobe, as they allow for flexibility and moisture management. Synthetic fibers, such as polyester or nylon, are ideal for layering as they dry quickly and wick away moisture. Cotton, on the other hand, is not a good choice for layering as it retains moisture, leading to discomfort and potential health issues.

Feet are often overlooked when it comes to winter dressing, but they can generate a significant amount of perspiration during physical activity. Wearing durable, waterproof, and breathable footwear can help prevent discomfort and potential health risks. Double layer socks made with a thin layer of wicking material and a synthetic fiber can provide optimal moisture management.
